Construction of MC2, the Civic Precinct community hub started in September 2010. The building is on schedule to be finished by mid June 2012

Over 1,500 residents, so far, have shared their vision for Manningham as part of the Generation 2030, the biggest community consultation project Council has undertaken.

Following ongoing advocacy by Council the State Government has committed to undertake a $6.5 million feasibility study to establish a train line to Doncaster

Council’s much loved Zero the Waste Hero launched into cyberspace with a new sustainability website, Zero Zone, designed to teach children all about waste and recycling
